I am out of room. I have a CD transport on 4 Stillpoints Ultra 6 w/bases. Ontop of it is the DAC on it's stock feet. I was wondering if the DAC is receiving any benefits from the Stillpoints under the CD transport that it sits atop?
There is nothing I can do about this but I was just wondering if their properties travel through one component into the one on top of it? It is not a silly question. I honestly have no clue if the DAC is benefitting from them as well.
Obviously this system sounds darn good regardless. Even though I have completely basterdized it's installation. It gives new meaning to $200,000 "bookshelf system". At least I have it, better than not I feel. I know properly set up this is a top level reference system. Honestly as it stands(no pun intended) it certainly does not sound bad. I bet I would be amazed to hear it properly set up though. It is not my main system. Just in the bedroom. With wife etc, you know how all that goes. So it is what it is but I just wondered about this. If it will travel up and transfer to at least one other component stacked on top of it.
Thanks.
