Can't seem to get atmos on Netflix app on Win 11 playing on the T71, shows only as 2.0 input. Anybody have this issue?

Yes, Netflix updated the app a few weeks ago, which now relies on the Edge browser engine, and the multi-channel features are gone.

You can install the Windows DTS or Dolby apps, and enable surround sound, but this does not work using the T71 as a sound card.

I followed the instructions on a Reddit post, and installed the old app, but it no longer works (it does not authenticate).
Netflix probably changed something in the authentication mechanism.

End result:
I can no longer use multi-channel on the PC with Netflix, just like I can not use it with the Disney app (for the same reason).

If anyone has managed to work around this, please let me know.

That seems like my issue, why did they changed the app to a browser based like this... I was able to get multichannel audio input correctly using local movie files. I just got my T71 a few days ago, still trying to figure out all the functions. Would appreciate any tips or suggestions to best utilize it.

Yes yes, the machine processes multi-channel audio files perfectly.
The problem I am talking about is specifically related to some video streaming apps on Windows, including Netflix.

Hello
I have Switched from iPhone 13 to iPhone 15 Pro and now have the issue, that I cannot put the volume level of the iPhone to the maximum. The Display of the T71 shows -4.5 instead of 0, when I set the volume level to max. When using iPad Air or iPhone 13 everything is fine. How can I solve this issue?

Maybe try a different source or plug into a computer and see what happens?

I found a workaround to getting netflix to output multichannel. I used netflix on firefox with the following extension and was able to get 5.1 output to the T71:

Hello guys, I was thinking about getting the Qudelix T71. Currently I have a Qudelix 5k and HD 560s, easily the best set up I've ever had, it's also my first actual audio setup lol, wont be changing the 560s until I can afford the 800s
But the Qudelix T71 seems a nice upgrade. 7.1 surround is like the feature I'm looking for, also the multi-channel seems so good and convenient. In case, I'll be using the 5K for my android and T71 for my PC.
So, how is it compared to the 5K? Is it worth upgrading? I use Dolby Atmos on PC for surround but it's not really the best, especially because I have to change whenever I'm listening to music or gaming/watching something, also I wish I had Discord's sound separated from the rest. Previously I had a steelseries arctis 5 and the steelseries app Is phenomenal, but the eq is terrible and so the headset. If the T71 allows me to use different channels for different programs, I will buy it instantly lmao. So that's what I want to know basically, since there are few opinions on it on internet, and they are all positive, but I don't understand some features. That's why I am here

So does the T71 support in-line mics with headsets on a trrs cable? I plan on using it only for PC and PS5 gaming, but if it can't passthrough the mic from my headset, it's not really useful to me.

I just assumed it would after the 5k had it, but after reading some random reviews and through this whole thread I'm thinking it might not work.

I think it's exactly what you're looking for.

The automatic switch between multichannel and stereo audio works well enough in my case (Windows PC), and you get all the great features you already know in terms of equalization from the 5K.

The difference is that the T71 has twice the power and a bit more independence for switching between presets, as you can do it directly from the device's screen.

I love my T71 it is really a magical device but once they're done optimising it and the 5K really keen to get something from Qudelix that if it needs to be a little bigger with bluetooth and more power (enough to power Moondrop Cosmo / LCD-5). Such a device would probably cannibalise T71 sales though.

For anyone wondering, I got my answer from Qudelix, they have no support for in-line mics and apparently it's not possible to add support through firmware.

Kind of goofy that they say use it for gaming in 7.1 and not include in-line mic support, but whatever, I had to buy an extra USB soundcard to use my headset.

So far it's amazing in games, and it's better than other 7.1 to stereo down sampling I've experienced.

Hello T71 owners. I have an iPhone 16. Is the 71 working with it? I read some reports of problems with iPhone 15. I hate to buy it and then find out it does not work properly. Thanks in advance.
