Couldn't resist. It was cheap. And I'd never even heard of it before.

It would appear to be Quart's answer to the HD-414. Or maybe the HD-424. And since i am waiting for it to arrive from germany, the picture is all I know.
The round plug on the end is going to be the weird DIN-style (but not DIN standard) plug found on a lot of old german audio gear.
I've never seen anything like the rings around the drivers. I wish i knew for sure what kind of pad these had. My guess is of course that they had a thick foam disc not entirely unlike the HD-414 and it's imitators. But why the support ring?
