New Head-Fier
Greetings,
I've had a set of Beyerdynamic 770 Pro (80 Ohm) headphones for a few years. I recently purchased an Xbox One X and wanted to use the Beyerdynamics as a headset. I purchased the ModMic 4 along with the headphone/mic Y splitter provided on their website.
When plugged into the Xbox controller via 3.5mm jack, the audio and mic work fine and I'm sure the quality of the Antlion splitter is good/decent, however it's a plastic square that plugs into the controller, it's bulky, wide and unpleasant. It slightly weighs the controller off center since both headphone/mic cables connect to it.
Most of the headphone/mic splitters I saw on Amazon are low quality, unreliable junk.
Can anyone recommend one or two quality headphone/mic splitters that terminate into one 3.5mm plug so that it can be plugged into an Xbox One X Controller?
I'd like something that doesn't reduce sound quality or mic quality and can be relied upon.
Thank you in advance.
