Decided to start with a set of Tung-Sols 6SL7 and 6SN7 ... Definitively easier on the budget and I guess still a decent set of first steps into tube rolling :)
It would be advisory to read the detail from the user manual of the Pa-One.
Mine is the first version (non +), tube rectified model.
The recommendation on the warm-up time is to be observed, after switching off the amp, and inserting new tubes - valves.

Question to the round .. My PA One+ came with an ever so slight hum in the left channel. Less audible on less sensitive heapdhones, more audible on more sensitive ones. The hum stays also with valves removed, so it is not related to defective valves I guess.

The hum easily drowns out when playing music, so I do not consider it too big of a deal. I would however be curious if anyone recognizes this and what was done (if anything) to remediate?

I have a chance to get a pa one+ for a reasonable price in my country.. I’ve been searching for information about how it would match with a aeon 2 noire (13ohm).. another information that I found different opinions is about the line out. Does it sound “good”? I mean, would be worth integrating it to a speaker system and get the tube effect?
I don’t plan to use the dac section often, since I’m planning to use it with my chord Hugo og
