Wonder how these would strife against a modded Thie Phantom, which in Stock is said to be even better than Verum One... which are just a step below Anandas (AKA HEX V3).
These are a ridiculous value, but Chi-Fi has been lurking in the depths for years, and the values down there are quite ridiculous.
I hope we can get comparisons later in time! ^-^

Which earpads do you prefer?
I quickly switched to the leather pads.
These deliver in my opinion, life and dynamic.
I also like the bass a lot more

I prefer the leather ones, too. :)
The velours aren't comfordable to me and the lifelike sound with the leather pads is even better.

Ordered the Claire Hybrid HPC cable in semi-transparent black at forza audioworks on saturday.
Can't wait to plug it on the Era and the T1.

It's not the subtle change of sound i'm interested in, more the increase of comfort wise.

The stock cable of the Era isn't that much annoying then that of the T1, but i'm in need of a shorter one.

Will report the changes and send some pics when it arrives.
Can't wait for it. :o2smile:

I have a Claire cable and I got slightly less details, freshness with Era1 compared to its stock cable.
I'm on to modding always, but I got that, the Era1 perform really well with its own pads and cable.

Thanks for that.
Will keep it in mind.
Otherwise there's a pure silver on on the spot.

I think, after entering head-fi my wallet screams out loud. ^^

By the way that is a very good cable. I use on my Pandora 6 and hell better than its stock cable.

Im building Cables by my own.

My favourite is the B&W Signature Cable, as a Base.
Because this Cable is super soft, and super flexible.

Here just a example that I've made for LCD and Empyrean

Which one do you mean?

What kind of Claire do you have?

There'll be a slightly difference between the Claire and Claire Hybrid, I think and hope so.

The main fight of the day was: Era-1 vs. Ananda

20190820_165516.jpg

I would like to anticipate it:
the Era-1 plays for me in a different league.

For me, the Ananda must be defeated in all points, except for the stage.
In all areas, be it the bass, the midtone, or the treble, the Ananda plays, in my ears, compared to the Era-1, distanced, reserved, impotent, and obscured.

Normally shocked, I was on the track:
Eyesdown from the Bonobo album Black Sands, on the voice reproduction of the singer.
What's up with the Hifiman ?!
The voice of the singer sounded so "far away" and unpleasantly unsubstantial that I broke off the comparison on the spot.

The comfort was very mixed.
Because I touched with my ears, the inner surface noticeably.
In the long run that would certainly be an impertinence.

Once again, the quad is the clear winner for me

If Amanda is brand new I would give it some time to break-in before making a final decision.
