The largest cross sectional area of pure copper ever incorporated into a QED loudspeaker cable, enables Supremus to deliver the ultra-low resistance required to ensure perfect fidelity of the musical signal.

AirCore™ Technology, unique to QED cables, means unrivalled high frequency detail, rhythm and timing. Supremus boasts sixteen silver plated, 99.999% oxygen free copper, solid core conductors. To deliver its no compromise sonic performance, each individual conductor is insulated by a nearly invisible layer of enamel, providing ultimate insulation for a more detailed output.

Yes, the QED Signature / Supremus range of speaker cables, whilst expensive, are well thought out and a great investment. You would hope so at this price range.

Hi, unfortunately I live in France. I have cables from another UK manufacturer (PM me if youre interested in knowing which ones, you might know them). The cables are expensive but If they sound the way they could, they could be a bargain.

Greay quality speaker cables add a lot to TOTL equipment.

I'm just wondering why QED has chosen OFC intead of OCC.

Thank you for your comments. We are authorized to sell QED in the USA, so we cannot sell to anyone in Europe. As you already know - there are several authorized resellers and direct distribution for QED covering most of Europe.

Yes, the QED Supremus Cables, they are manufactured using an OFC (oxygen free copper) method. Quoting QED: "The QED Supremus feature cables that house two bundles of 16 silver plated, cryogenically treated oxygen free copper conductors for ultra-low resistance. The conducting copper is 99.999% pure and has an equivalent of 6.2mm² Cross Sectional Area. The conductors are uniquely and individually insulated by a nearly invisible layer of enamel. This material was chosen because it has extremely good insulating properties. The cables are enveloped in QED’s proprietary Aircore™ Technology that keeps inductance and capacitance at very low low levels. This technology changes the magnetic field within the cable to ensure high frequencies travel through the central part of the conductor. The result, QED believes, is an unrivaled level of high frequency detail and cable timing."
