What are your thoughts on the Tiger?

I haven't heard it, nor the Anole V14. Heard the Anole VX. and I have 2 pairs on qdc Anole V3, but that's it.

Make's sense, my DMagic left because of Odin as well. Probably gonna get another one down the line.

My Dmagic is my everyday iem when I go for walks. Still love it, great performance for the money.

I have already mest mk2 and LX. looking for a endgame gear, I am generally listening pop/rock/edm, i like the funny signature (this is the reason why i ejected odin)

I feel bad for dropping the ball and actually responded to the PM before I saw this.

Sucks that you dropped the Odin, but its better than to spend the money and realize you don't like and have to find something else.

Between the V14 and U12t, neither are particularly exciting or musical if that's the goal.

I would consider Aroma Thunder with PlusSound TriHybrid or Hybrid+
A cheaper but good one is Szalayi, but Oriolus fit isn’t very good in my ears.
I read great things about indigo but I never test it.
If you can spend more than 3000$ there are Trailli, Jewel, Ace and Dc ti

I had a chance to audition the Tiger yesterday at canjam, and its tuning departs from both my Dmagic 3D and Anole V14. The Tiger has an elevated midrange which I found a bit fatiguing. It’s possible it was a burn-in issue and certainly possible the standard cable qdc uses contributed to what I heard since I’ve found through experience they are bright cables. I told one of the guys manning the booth my impressions and he concurred saying it is a new tuning direction for qdc.

Thank you for this. I was hoping it would be something like a "baby" V14. I was going to pick up a Tiger to be used outside as a daily driver. Really liking my V14 and remains to be part of my top 3 iem rotation (UM Indigo and Legend X being the other 2). The bass and amount of details is what I love about the V14.
