...and they have to be broken in.....
My PX200 had weak bass, but I ran it through my favorite tunes and in 3 days, I noticed the difference. It's the same thing with your E4's

To me, it is no contest between the PX200s and the E4Cs. The E4Cs are a lot more detailed and accurate than the PX200s. The E4Cs also isolate a lot better. I don't think either is bassy or boomy, but I prefer bass on the E4Cs. I use the foamies with the E4Cs. To me, any other tip just doesn't get a good enough seal and usually ends up sounding thin.

I got a good seal and when I pull them out I get a lot of suction so they are a decent fit. Some of the fittings didn't. I found the foamies to sound thin (hence the "tranny in the bathroom comment".. oh err

).

I'll give them more time.

I forgot about running them in. I'll leave them playing all night tonight. I want to like them, don't want to have to buy something new again.

Incidently they are selling E3's in the MacCenter here in Brisbane for AU$279 (equiv US$209!!!) maybe I could make a profit on my E4C's.
