Ahh...i listen to these at work, out of my NJB3. As nice as they sound...they really hurt the outside of my ears after an hour or so of use. They didn't used to hurt so much, but this was when I was wearing them incorrectly, without getting the proper seal. The comfort issue I have with the PX200 is so serious that I would definitely contemplate recommending them...and this is coming from someone who finds Grados comfortable. Who else can relate? Talk amongst yourselves.

Huh!

I find the PX200 some of the most comfortable, unobtrusive headphones I've ever worn. Maybe it's just me and my wierd head.

Perhaps my head is weird? I should have included a poll...too late now, I suppose. Let's wait and see what others say, assuming that an excess of two people respond to this...not something that usually happens with my posts

The PX 200 is really very comfortable to my ears. But it's no news that it's highly dependent on individual anatomic properties. Sorry for you if it doesn't fit your ears comfortably!

The PX200 is very comfortable for me too. However, as an owner of the PX100, PXC250 and Koss Portapros as well, I can say that in comparison the PX200 has an unusually short and somewhat "tightly wound" headband. Some other head-fiers have complained that it just isn't long enough. You might want to give the PX100 a try. The headband is longer and looser and overall more comfortable.

I love the px200 for what it is, but I'm thinking that somehow they were gearing this headphone to the niche "small-headed" demographic. How hard would it have been for the design team to make it to be more skull-friendly?

They fit me fine, but they don't have nearly the extension in the headband as most other portable headphones.

i didn't find the PX200s that bad....they get uncomfortable after a while and then after that, the discomfort seems to go away....for me at least....

I guess you shouldn't get a pair of HD280s......man...wearing those things for an hour or so gives me a migraine....ick.....wearing stock bowl pad grados is better than that....

at least the cheeze grater feeling from that mesh in front of the drivers on the Grados goes away after a while....
