This is white ver 2 right? Was there ever a white ver 1? (old ver) because i cant find pics of an other box of white.. I found 2 black boxes and 1 white box (earphone color speaking) so can someone please tell me which box is which verison? |

That's must be a newer box, most probably with the new version in it I guess. I don't think the whites were even made before they made the newer drivers. BTW, some like the old version better, some the new. At the start the reports of the new ones were that they didn't sound good, this opinion changed and now most people like them better. I truely don't know what to think. The way we found out, there were reports of people telling that their PX100 didn't sound at all like we described. Too bright, not bass heavy etc, they were dissapointed. At first you think it's difference in taste or source but at a certain point there were too many of these brighter PX100 reports. Then someone e-mailed sennheiser and after a couple of denies someone got an e-mail that they did change something to make them brighter. |

Especialy talking about bass, if the new ver has weak bass I'm hesitationg about getting it.. |

If I were to get another pair I'd take my chances with the newer ones. Lately everyone seems to like them and there is a good reason that I've modded mine. Unmodded thay hardly have highs and are (to my ears) all bass and clearity and detail suffers because of it. Even with the mod they still are bass heavy. You could always get the KSC75s. Cheaper and just as good IMO. ![]() |
