So I've been listening to both of these for a little bit, and while the Grado sound quality is better, the Sennheiser is no slouch. The 60 definitely sounds cleaner and more clear, but the Px has more of an edge or bite (Hard to explain) to it that I like. I can also notice a slight echoing (due to them being closed?) in the Px, though it only shows up in the heavy System of a Down choruses. I've been thinking that cutting out the middle of the pads as suggested may bring some of that bite to the Grado's. (Feel free to correct me if you know this feeling and it actually has an accurate description) Has anyone done this and feel it's worth it? Anyway, I think this combo is perfect for me since I take the Senn's on the plane and to school, and the Grado's I listen to at home. Oh, and we'll see how the KSC-35's fit in there when they get here. :) Anyone else have any thoughts on how these two compare?

If you're experimenting with the hole, you may want to try the $2-$3 Rat Shack pads and cutting those. That way you could experiment without damaging the Grado comfies... or at least switch them back and forth if you prefer one over the other for different musical styles or just variety. Then there's also the Senn/Vwap ones.
