..........waiting for Punch Audio Martilo monitors (soon to be released from Linsoul Audio) during next week....... :astonished:

according to Punch Audio : "The Martilo delivers a massive 14 ±1 dB sub-bass boost for deep, punchy impact, while maintaining control with a 200Hz bass crossover. The low-end hits hard without muddying the sound, giving bass guitar notes and low mids a rich, full presence."
it seems that this one delivers Pure Bass Power .......
this is exactly my field of expertise........my very best part across the FR on any listening session..literally on any listening session..........

soooooo......expect THE BATTLE OF THE TITANS......... : :fearful::fearful::fearful: 👍👍👍 ...against ISN EST50s & FatFreq Deuce & more ......for sure....😊😊😊

SZA__DEUCE.jpg

FatFreq Deuce is by far the hardest to drive set among my collection any kind of amp is necessary to bring out full juice there.... and also needs ABSOLUTELLY PEQ so that the midrange can open up and sound correct - more natural ....i passed listening to this set some months ago....BUT i have to admit the BASS is simply BOMBASTIC on these .............

(guess i ll have to put back to the Deuces this beauty....the updated red blood silver cable which came originally with it....😥😥😥

🤟🤟🤟🤟:kissing_closed_eyes::kissing_closed_eyes::kissing_closed_eyes:.....more to come next week ......

I wish manufacturers would include this in their specs as common practice. I won't buy anything over 6.2 mm because they become uncomfortable after about half an hour. I've passed on numerous sets due to not knowing.
Same here. 6.2-6.3mm is my maximum and sometimes depending on the design it makes me try between different eartips and their sizes.

Excited to get these in the next few days. I found the HBB Punch to lack low mids and really not sound full bodied with guitars and male vocals. Same with the Xenns Top Pro. Since the crossover is up at 200hz that should help.
According to Jay’s Audio, in his ranking he places them on par with the HBB Punch and adds: Cheaper, and slightly more energetic HBB Punch with slightly less mid-bass and slam. Endgame "balanced" basshead. Imaging feels sharper than Punch, but treble is not as smooth, aside from that very similar tech and low-end.

I'm surprised there's not more reviews of these. Mine came in the mail yesterday and although I did listen to them for a couple of hours, I want to do a proper A to B with the Deuce before giving my full thoughts.

Initial impressions are positive. I feel like there's more detail in the treble and I really like the bass curve moved slightly into the mids. It gives more weight to that section of the graph.

Give it a 100 hours of continuous burn in and then come back and listen... you ll be surprised of the result..trust me.. DDs needs thorough burn in to tighten up their response.. I received those today haven't been able to find time to open the parcel..
I ll be doing that tommorow but right after that a 100 hours of continuous burn in process will certainly take place before any listening occur.... I am commisioned for a review on Martlos amd need to have objectively the best outcome.. A ONE OF A KIND BATTLE will certainly take place with real time bass monster monitors during the next days as soon as burn in is completed and report back here as well.... Sooo.... Stay tuned and take seriously my advise for a thorough burn regarding this set... Your opinion is likely to change during this process but only for the better.... 👍👍👍😁

I look forward to your review!

What source will you be using? Another thing I noticed is these don't require a ton of power, unlike everything else I own. It would be nice to pair these to a simple dongle dac for travel and still get the full range/bass out of them.
