This is my first portable amp purchase and am kind of excited. Decided on this after having read Skylab's glowing review, along with that of many other new Move owners.

Was really leaning towards a Hornet or Tomahawk, but I think size-wise the Move just might work for my needs so I decided on the Move, instead.

Anyway, the main point of this post is to let you know that Todd's only got five left (from shipment of 40) and right now they're offering free 1st class shipping.

Having said this, I really am clueless on how easy/frequent shipments arrive from Europe so I just thought I'd pass the information along just in case anyones straddling the fence on this one.

Ciao,

Can't wait for it to get here sometime next week. It just dawned on me that I've never even seen a portable headphone amplifier in person; only through these pages. Come on next week...come on next week...come on......

I reserved and paid for mine on July 11 from Jan and I received it on July 16
here in Texas. I couldn't believe how fast I got it, especially with a weekend
in between that time!

I've had mine for a couple of days now, and I'm really blown away. In particular, it's got a lot of punch, and I've been spending more time with my SR-80s, which have a new life with it--I'm not sure, but I might like them better with the Move than with my Opera, or maybe it's just freshness effect.

And someone said in some other thread that amps do nothing for IEMs? Nope--they're really different with the move, and have, in particular, gained a lot of realism over what they did with my GoVibe V5.

The deep punchy bass is really addictive. But at the same time everything else is there too.

Some brief thoughts here

It may be my untrained ears, but i don't think the Move loses much to the HeadFive at all. The bass on the Move does make the K701's much more enjoyable.

Just order one already

You will struggle to find something that is better sounding and as versatile for the price given what other more experienced ears have said about it.

, just to let you know.....While you are enjoying the fabulous sound of the corda move with your k701.....I can only dream of what it sounds like.....

I kid, I kid....appreciate the little nudge for the move....

for your information.....I just got the k701 and the corda move is on its way to my door step....however, the dilemma that troubles me is I'm away on a trip and won't be home for another 3-4 weeks....For the moment, I am living vicariously through you and many others like yourself....
Can you indulge me please?

BTW thanks
