anyone know of alternatives to shures PTH?
its kinda annoying lugging it around.

Yeah, it's definitely impractical. I don't know anything else that would work other than just pulling it out of one ear to talk.

Pause your music. You can probably carry on a conversation with the IEMs still in your ears. Otherwise, remove them to talk.

The only time I've used PTH is when on an airplane. It's fairly useful then, but I don't bother using it when walking around or riding on the train.

I use it while home listening when I need to answer quick questions or for just general conversation with family members. I can see the use for it, as for a lot of people out there getting a good seal is fairly difficult and removing it and re-inserting it may be time consuming and annoying for short conversations. However, the thing is too damn bulky for practical portable use and the thing is almost as big as my S639 itself... if thing is half the size then I would consider using it on a regular basis.

the stock apple buds comes with one.. small. its practical.
i don't like that extra pth weight draggin me down

That's a bitch of a trade-off, though.

Or are you saying the apple one can be used with other phones?
