PSU for the Musical Fidelity XCAN V8 headphone amplifier

HI all.

I have a MF XCAN V8 headphone amp and I want the PSU for it;its hard to find.

I note that the V3 psu for the older MF XCAN V3 amp has the same voltage outputs and 3 pin Din sockets as the version 8 psu, ie 12 0 12 volts.

So ,could I buy a version 3 psu to use for my version 8 amp and use it ok, please?
