psst ... HF-1 auction over here ...

Figured this needs a bump, as there are just 3 days remaining till the Sat, 11/19 Tampa meet. Per the link in the 1st post above, here's the deal:

I've got two pairs of Grado HF-1's, and that's one too many. They are fantastic cans, and imho, the sweet spot in the Grado lineup. I am listening to #60 as I type this (Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here), and they are sweet, indeed.

My second pair - #152 (don't ask), in the sealed, unopened box, are up for auction to benefit Head-Fi.

Here's how it works ...

1.) Send me a PM with your bid amount (U.S. dollars)
2.) Bidding is open until 3:00 EST Sat, Nov 19th
3.) Winning bidder announced at 4:00 PM EST Sat, Nov 19th at the Tampa, FL Meet

Just one caveat - if the bids are not to my liking (ie: not high enough), I will just place a higher bid myself, donate that sum to Jude, and keep the HF-1's.

PM me your bids, and post any questions - happy bidding, and good luck.

Good point, but since some bids have come in, I'd rather just post the current high bid (since it has met any reserve I might set) in this thread.

As of this post's timestamp, the high bid for these pristine, sealed in new box HF-1's is $175 (US).

Good suggestion, Blitzula, and, as anyone can see, these are still available at a discount to original price.

Winning bid so far is still $175.

I had a PM from a potential bidder asking if you had to be at the Tampa meet to bid and win. No, of course not. That's just where I will be at bid close (3:00 PM EST, Sat, Nov 19), so thought it would be fun to tie in with the meet.

Anyone can bid and win these HF-1's
