Hi there,

I'm having cable sparkling noises on my Grado PS1000 right channel, depending on the cable position the noise comes and goes, it's a sparkle that only starts when I play low and medium-low frequencies. If the noise starts, all I have to do to stop it is fiddle a little with the cable, moving it to the right position.

SO, because of this, I think it might me a good time for me to re cable my PS1000. What do you think? I live in Brazil, so I'll probably have to ship it outside my country to do so. I would like something around USD$250.00 or lower, and a great and very durable oxide-resistant solder compound for the job and a better than original but not as heavy and bulky cable. I'd also like to have the cable really well attached and firm (so it has no risky at all of getting plucked off by some eventual accidental pull).

Any good and trustable Grado-modding website recommendations for that? Please.

Thank you very much!

Hi Favero why dont you get detachable cables then if they do get tugged they just pop out.
I did a 3.5mm trs jack plug mod and it really works well if i let the children listen to them
