They're back! Out of production for a while but now apparently being relaunched. They work wonders if you use like four or five of em. The trick is to add more until they no longer blink. I borrowed a few from someone I know and had a total of nine installed in different outlets in my entertainment room. No blinking at all at that point, and it really took the edge off of the sound. Also, it dramatically improved the picture on both televisions. I saw the same type of improvement on both sets--just cleaner with more pop. I just know since I gave the harvesters back (I now only have five) neither the picture or sound is as good.
So what is setting them off? No dimmer switches in this building, and the only thing that sets them off is my source computer tower or a laptop when running. It has something to do with hard drive disk access. The components must generate noise but these buggers gobble it up. It may very well be 10 cents of parts inside but kudos to PS audio for creating a cheap product that works!
I never thought just one or two by itself did much of anything.
