I have a Sony NWZX2 mp3 player, it wont charge or turn on... and a couple of people have suggested that the battery may have gone into this protection mode. It's seemingly a dead battery but can be "jumped" with a higher voltage to wake it up...the battery isn't dead, just sleeping?
