proper grounding - How to do it right?

I'm planning to connect the virtual ground of the cmoy amp to the metal casing of the pots and to the ground of the headphone jacks.

Is this a good idea? Thanks

I have had the best results when I experiment with the ground. Seems like what usually works is not always what seems like the first best idea. (that made no sense at all?) I guess I would say to try it, but build it so you haver the ability to experiment with the ground for signal and chassis. Look at alot of different schematics for different ground ideas. See what works best.
