Proof of evolution—Darwin Filters V2 for HiBy RS6, RS8, RS2, FC6

Are these included in R8ii already?
The R8ii (not the RS8) runs a superior 1024 tap version of these filters out of the box.

Really struggling to install the Darwin (V2) filter Files - can't see how to remove the V1 filters. Any help appreciated
Yeh, it wasn’t straight forward, but there is a step by step process here somewhere.
From memory, I did it via downloading to PC, extracting, then either copying over via USB C or extracting to the onboard folders

Thanks @Thundernuts - that's what I've tried but no joy, the new filters don't replace V1.
Can you show screenshots from your filter selection screen after a reboot? Also of the files in the filter folder?

What model of device do you own?

Hi Joe
thanks for getting back to me. Device is a RS8, pics as requested. I'm guessing that the files are still zipped but I've no idea how to unzip a .flt file with a Mac?

No that part is fine

You need a "filter" folder, not a "filters" folder.

I still do not understand why Hiby does not officially accept this amazing filters designed by @Joe Bloggs .
well like I said, they were adopted out of the gate for the R8 II. For the RS6 and RS8 I think they just have trouble adopting it officially due to obligations with the earphone companies and the custom Darwin settings they each appointed for each earphone model.

ahh, I forgot about those custom IEM profile. It would be great to have a option to pick from the setup of filter. Option A)default filters which enables the IEM profile and B) Darwin Ultra filters.
