Just wanted to put something up for people to share their favorite artists/albums, preferably prog rock, but I guess prog metal.

My favorite is definitely Van der Graaf Generator. Gotta love Pawn Hearts

Oh boy, the list would be too long but here are some of the bands that I listen to these days :

1- Dream Theater
2- Porcupine Tree
3- Opeth
3- Riverside
4- Rush
5- Pink Floyd
6- Shadow Gallery
7- OSI
8- Three
9- Tool
10- Mastodon
11- Cynic
12- The Mars Volta
13- King Crimson
14- The Gathering

By the way, you should listen to the samples of the new OSI album here.

Cheers

I love Godbluff and H to He.

My main prog fix of late has been Beggars Opera though.

Do you have any Gentle Giant that you could suggest? Like what's one of their more accessible albums?

Its jazzy too. This album is top notch funky, melodic fury.

That album cover is great! From the Sci-Fi background to the Yin-Yangs on the black dudes shirt!
