Hello,

I have an Audiotrak Prodigy HD2 and I am using Windows 7 with the latest drivers from AUDIOTRAK - News for Windows 7. I am having a volume problem. On first notice, the default volume is way higher than I'm used to from my card, secondly and most importantly, if I change the volume in the Windows 7 overall mixer, the volume in other applications is not affected. Also not when I mute.

Thanks a lot!

I recently reisntalled the Prodigy HD2 on my Windows 7 64 system using those drivers. I notice that the Windows volume control doesn't really do anything. I can change the volume and mute through the card's own control panel without a hitch. I keep the Windows volume at Zero.

Have you tried using the card's own control panel?

In my case since I installed the card fresh and used the newest drivers; the control panel wasn't installed and doesn't start with I boot up. I had to set it to run manually by putting it in the start-up.
