I wonder if someone try to use the AD8620AR on the Prodigy HD2 ?
technically, is it possible ? Voltage ???
I want to order the Pre-Mounted AD8620AR Op-amp (p/n AD8620-970601S) from BrownDog.

There is a thread regarding the HD2 op amp rolling. Please find it. AD8620 is a bit harsh and treble-aggressive, a bit narrow soundstage. AD8620BRZ is a bit smoother but still the same flavor. AD8022 and AD8599 are musical and transparent.

do you know where can i get AD8022 or AD8599 that mountet to 8-pin DIP adapter ?

why 2x OPA2604 + AD8022 or AD8599
and not 3XAD8022 or AD8599

Because it will sound bad. There is another, better trick. Instead of OPA2604 x2 use wires to short pins 1-3 and 5-7 in each socket. At the output you can use AD8599 and this will be good.

What is the difference between 2x OPA2604 + AD8022 and 2x OPA2604 + AD8599 regarding the sound signature??
