Hi Head-fiers,
I have a Xonar DGX on my desktop and when i plug my M100 on it the sound go Mono.
It happens only with this pairing.

Anyone knows wut can it be?

I think the jack plug is not fully inserting into the jack on the DGX or the audio is setup for mono output somehow.

Take a look and make sure the headphone jack is fully inserted into the jack looking for any gaps or slippage of the connector while it is plugged in.

Do the M100 headphones sound mono with any other player / gear?

Probably incompatibility between the jack and the plug. The M100s have a 4 pole plug, don't they? Sometimes 4 pole plugs don't work right with some headphone jacks. If you could find a regular 3 pole cable that doesn't have a mic in it to use with your M100s and your computer, your problem would probably go away. Something like their audio only cable: http://v-moda.com/audio-only-cable/

Someone in this thread might know where you could get one cheaper: http://www.head-fi.org/t/592389/v-moda-m-100-discussion-feedback-reviews-pics-etc

Up still having the problemas.

Vmoda + xonar = mono
Vmoda + anything else = normal
Sibéria v2, klipsch sii + xonar = normal

Could be as the Xonar DGX's headphone jack is designed to work with a regular stereo audio cable plug (right and left and ground), which has 3 connection points on the plug.
and the V-Moda cable also has a mic channel (right and left and voice and ground), which has 4 connection points.
The Xonar thinks the mic and ground connection is just one channel (thinks it's the ground only).

Did the V-Moda M-100 come with a different cable, one that does not have the mic feature?
Check the box the M-100 came in, might have been another cable shipped with the M-100.

Maybe this cable will solve the issue.

Also make sure the motherboard's on-board audio, is disabled, in the BIOS.

Thnx for the reply, Did some tests this weekend and all cables that come with the M100 (the mic one and the sharing one) are 3 connection points. Couldnt test with a 2 connection points cable, and im trying to get one to test.

Its really weird tho
