problem with etymotic er6

Earlier today, I found that I could hardly hear anything in the right ear of my etymotic er6. The left was working fine. But when I got back from dinner, the right side started working normally again. Has anyone ever had this happen? What's going on? Could this be indicative of a major problem?

I doubt anything significant is wrong.

Check if the wires are secure. Sometimes the connection or solder is a little lose.

Also, check if the headphone jack is plugged all the way in and it is not lose. Bad or poor contact can create an imbalance between the left and right channels.

When was the last time you changed filters? Usually, if it's the filter it wouldn't recover for no reason. But when they start to get clogged they can sound pretty bad in one channel or the other.

the wiring inside the phone may have came loose or something....if there is still warranty, suggest u quickly send it in and let ety's ppl worry about it.

could be a wiring problem. my old er6 died on the left side.
