problem with audiotrak prodigy 7.1

hi, i downloaded the latest drivers from the korean site, and the prodigy is working fine for music playback....but i've noticed that when i attempt to load up divx and power dvd, the loading is very slow, and occassionally the movie and sounds stutter and the sounds are faster than the movie....

when i play games (Fable), the music will stop and there will be a buzzing sound, and my screen will hang for a while. then the music will resume and the game is back to normal, but only for a while (20 seconds) before the whole thing repeats itself. the cycle will repeat until i get a BSOD and then my computer will restart by itself....

any one knows if it's a driver problem with the prodigy, or my video card? and how to solve it? thanks!

Why don't you just use your computer's onboard sound and see if it still happens. If it does, then it's got nothing to do with the sound card. Try isolating the problem this way.

I never found any serious problem with my Prodigy 7.1 (latest driver here too) except the change in sampling speed sometimes when I have a lot of different sound sources with different sampling (nothing tragic).
I don't play games too much, but I can tell you that with Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2142, GTR2 and Richard Burns Rally I never had a problem. And never had a BSOD too.
