Greetings all.
This is probably not the place for this, but I have no idea where it should go (no...not there)
When I try to post to these forums with my laptop running XP Pro, when I type the post and choose start new thread, I see a short amount of modem activity, then nothing further happens until the page times out. When I move over to my desktop running 98SE, everything works as it should. Is this some security setting in IE? I've looked at everything I know, and find nothing. My laptop is running Sygate firewall, but I instruct it to allow all traffic, and nothing changes. Also, I am running Cookie Crusher, but it shows no attempt to interfere with the posting. I'm out of ideas. Any help will be appreciated.

I would suggest turing off the cookie program, or diabling the "stay logged in" feature of head-fi. Just give it a shot, I can access head-fi with just about any browser I have ever tried.

That seems to be the solution. Cookie Crusher is not easy to disable, as it sets up a local proxy server. I temporarily turned off the proxy server, and it now allows me to post. I'll have to email The Limit Software to see if they have a fix.
Thanks for your reply.
