i got it at circuit city. came down to $180 after a pricematch. i had a hard time having it pricematched though.

they are discontinued but the last time i went to circuit city (less than a month ago), they had 3 units on display. so i'm assuming that they still have a lot of karmas in stock.

4 AA batteries or an ac adapter (the adapter isn't included with the package)
they sound pretty good considering the size.
compusa has them ($49) or at online stores.
