From the photos..it looks very polished. Well finished, detailed. Solaris SE and its quilt work finish needs to take note. It is kind of like the fit and finish difference between Nissan and Infiniti. I am curious to hear the signature but I have my sights set on two IEM's at the moment.

Fair point but from what I can tell the "u12t + bass" rumours have less to commend them than the "universal N8" rumours. I'm as curious as anyone else about how they'll sound, however.

These may be the "K8" (i think that was the code name) that were at Canjam. Can't really recall the sound but sounded similar to the 18s, if so.

I had a decent conversation with a rep at 64 audio. He stated that these were tuned like the n8 demo or universal with more balance and forward mids. Mine should be here soon. I’ll let you all know how they sound.

I'm hoping it is well done. Wondering if these things will have better abalone as a standard model, better sound and cost less than Solaris SE. We shall see.

If this thing is really tuned like the N8 it won't be anything like the SE Solaris in terms of sound-- it will be closer to something like the Legend X.
