Power up sequence? That clipping sound from power on

I have a low-budget newbie set up. 4G 20GB iPod + T2 + HD595.

When I turn on the thing on, I always get that clipping sound. I'm afraid that could damage the headphones...

I tried difference sequence, but no use. I always get that "clip" sound that bothers.

Does anyone how to get around this?
