I have a Fiio x1 II for home use, and I was going to add a headphone amp to increase the power O/P. The O/P of the x1 is 70mV into 32ohms, and the O/P of the Fiio Q1 II is 75mV into 32 ohms. As they would be connected via a 3.5mm cable, does this mean that there would be no significant increase in O/P power?
Should I be looking at an amp with at least double to O/P of the source?
