I was wondering, would installing new power cords [$50-300] into such devices be over-kill? or is that what I SHOULD be doing?

- sound modules
-audio interface
-midi interface
-computer?

and how about.......

-dj mixers [?]
-turntables [?]
-computer monitors

Overkill.

Maybe if you have money to throw away, you could put some on your audio equipment.

But my particular stance on power cords is...they are snake oil.
But in my case, it's justifying not using any.

Don't give premium power cords too much priority. Spend the cash on upgrading components. You should also have a certain level of quality components before you start hearing any difference.

A $200 cord on a $300 receiver, is well............
