I like this one a lot. Did you desaturate it? If so, I like that. If not, nice exposure

. The only problem I have with it is the reflection of the pine branches towards the bottom right corner. Can't do anything about that though, except for photoshop it.

Picked up a lense from Lan this past weekend.

I know it's a bit soft around the flower on the right. I have some pics of it with a 50mm f2.5 Macro on a 30D that I took on my friends setup, so we'll see how they compare.

Not exactly how I wanted this picture to come out, lol. I'll give it another go the next time I'm around that area.

Did some PP on this one for fun. I'm not sure I like how it came out, so I'll probably try play around again tonight.

Single rose which came out in front of my kitchen. Very rare as it is mid winter and cold (for this part of the world), around 10 degrees celcius...and it is that bitter, high-altitude cold which seeps into one's bones. Amazing that it came out and has stayed out for the past few days!

That's not photoshoped at all- I think I used 80 iso hence the softness (I think)

I wish I had a polarizer for my camera, but it's point and shoot, so I'd need some kinda weird attachment. Anyone know how to make your own? Or have tips for the polarized "look"

Tower7- I like the 1st one- that's what I mean by I wish I had a polarizer-the water looks so clear!

Thanks TheProdigy. Yea, that was taken with a polarizer, and it really comes in handy on those bright days to darken and intensify the blue sky, and help see through the water. Without the polarizer, this would have looked like just another cape cod beach.
