It's amazing how difficult it can be to capture the metallic sheen on some of those beautiful insects.

Since it is butterfly time, I might as well post this other picture.

Yea, that was actually on the second floor, in the second bedroom they take you in on the tour of the mansion. I waited until everyone was out of the room, laid down on my back on the floor and snapped a picture of the chandelier. Got some weird looks when the tour guide poked his head in to make sure everyone was out!

Taken within the past half hour. Nothing special, going to try to take this concept further some other day (sharper too)
I'm going to go out the a small lake near my house today and get a shot of this small island (we're talking like holds one small tree small), during sunset today.
Hope it turns out nice.

Just for fun but thought I'd share. Have been fooling around with my flash last night and a long shutterspeed. Shutterspeed was like 15 secs and no other light present. Just walked around the person flashing the flash in different directions. You can still see where I flashed because of the white spots. Quite funny. At least we had..

How do you come up with such stuff, as this isn't the first picture you amazed me with your creativity.
Kudo's to Bart too, sitting without any movement for 15 sec

The DOF of my new F/ 1.7 is really small, really something to get more experienced with.
