I upload my images on Head-Fi, then I use the 'Insert Image' button. After it pops up the image, I select its properties and replace the link it adds with the full link to the image. Then it shows up at full size. Then I quickly unlink it, because I don't like links on images.
 
Also, nice portrait. I always like soft green backgrounds and the whole thing has a very bright feel to it.
