Took a quick trip down to Ho Chi Minh, and shot a few rows of Tri-X on my M6. Developed in HC-110B

Wil, how do you go about finding willing subjects for your shots? I could imagine street shooting like that may be bothersome to some people. Perhaps they don't really mind at all.

Fascinating shots as usual!

Punnisher, i don't think they are 'willing' subjects per se, but rather, the people i shoot don't seem to mind much that my camera is pointed in their direction. For those that are bothered by my camera, most of them move out of the frame ( and believe me, that happens alot, regardless of which country or continent i am in! )

Other instances require abit more cunning and speed. Herein, the use of scale focus is incredibly useful..(i.e. a high ISO/film speed, small aperture [>f11] and knowing when to raise the camera and snap). I find this method particularly useful for catching candid moments.

Perhaps i don't look particularly intimidating, and perhaps a small rangefinder that looks like a point and shoot has its merits afterall, as opposed to a scary looking DSLR with a huge chunk of glass mounted at the front!

Thanks! Except for the railroad shot they are HDR.

It's a miracle there is no camera shake on that shot, considering the amounts of coke you drink :p

And back to film
