Of course it always helps when you have something beautiful in your VF.

I love the natural light of this shot, but I had the wrong setting and it ended up being noisy. EXR mode normal HR. The camera (S200exr) struggled with the light and simply wacked the ISO right up. The EXR mode is great once you remember what settings works best for particular conditions. HR when lighting is good and even. High ISO- low noise, for low light and indoors (should have used that!) And DR for even-ing out the dynamics in contrasting light. My bird pics above were all taken with the DR range mode.

This was taken later with a moderate flash and A priority.

Over all I'm very happy with this camera and there is soo much you can do with it. The weight is nice and keeps steady in most handheld situations. I love the colour it produces and it is on a completely different level to my S1600.  I'm still going to get a cheap second hand DSLR at some point, just for the larger sensor and speed but for now its nice to have everything in one (rather big and heavy!) package :)

(right I'll let someone else post some photos now :D

Nice @Redcarmoose! You have inspired me to dig through some archives... these are from when I was experimenting with macros in 2004 using my Oly C770 superzoom. Loved that camera! I'm pretty sure that I was also using a Oly Bmacro lens.
