^ Yeah, I played with the tone curve until I liked the floor / reflection best. Also pulled up the shadows and blew out the highlights a bit, which you can see on the bag.

When messing with photos, I usually just go by trial and error until I like the result. At that point, I ever so often don't exactly remember what I did lol.

Haha, yea, I look at the history in lightroom on some photos and am like, gah.

Not the sharpest shots (couple of beers + slow shutter speed + fleeting moments = meh), but I like them.

Another shot from the Dolomites, Italy. Looking from the Gran Cir to the massive Sella mountain range and the Gardena Pass below.
The sun has just come up and lights the steady stream of morning fog across the pass.

I do a bit of boating on the west coast of British Columbia. I'm not a morning person, but on occasion mother nature forces me to get up early, and rarely I am quite thankful lol!
The below shots are accidental sunrise shots...

Winters Cover, Saturna Island B.C. (one minute after that shot, another big anchored boat swung into ours - exciting morning!)

This one was taken in Octopus Islands (Quadra Island) B.C.
