A lifeguard tower. For reasons unknown to me these guys were desperately trying to root it out.

I am curious, and I'm not trying to insult you, what it is that draws you to low color photography. It's something I've never really seen the attraction of, but I'd be interested to hear why you like it.

There's nothing to explain... I just like the looks. Same way you can't argue about music tastes - it's what I'm drawn to, while others don't like it. When I was using my analog SLRs in the last 25 years I was mostly shooting Ilford XP2 or Kodak BW400, cause of the cheap developing costs in C41 (and because of the nice artifacts B/W films get via that process), and nowadays I'm doing more colors than before. Nobody questions why anyone still shoots in B/W with analog cameras, even if color films have been available for the better part of the 20th century. It's just a matter of taste.

@devwild: very nice road picture with the Grand Tetons! You won't easily find a scenery like this here in the Austrian Alps due to lack of open space between the mountains.
