What?

Rholupat had some nice ones too but the ones that were in stock didn't fit with the cable I wanted (I was looking to make something that looked like a self contained unit with a theme, if that makes sense), but it's great to know they have an Instagram. Do they typically have stock that they don't list on the website? If so I'll definitely make sure to contact them first, since they had some great products in general.
Which cable doesn't fit? The Cups have cutouts. I couldn't imagine, which cVle doesn't fit!?

My "wireless" Grado implementation with Earstudio ES100 bluetooth receiver. Today soldered the cable with correct lengths to make this nifty setup. Works very well and is easy to remove and install. Grado is sr225e model with shibibo audio cups and aluminum blocks, taped L cushion, diy foam headband topping and 3.5mm jacks.

That's one cool setup, it reminds me about good 'ol times when some Koss Porta Pro users attached Sansa Clip DAPs to them. If you fancy small wireless DAC/amp devices, we also make something that would fit your cans rather well

Thanks, this was actually inspired from those Porta Pro Sansa Clip combos I saw back in olden times. Thanks for the tip!

I'm a Grado owner (again) - had a few pairs, always sell them, always buy another, I can't keep away from them.

Already fitted genuine L-Cush pads - next up will be a recable and change the grill to some fine metal mesh of some sort.

That's about all I have in store for now, maybe a new headband cushion in the future.

I modded this SR60e I got off of eBay really cheap a few years ago. I vented every single hole in it (cause you know they have no bass at all) added some felt to the back of the drivers to dampen them (cause I poked as many holes in the thing as I could). Finally I built my own cable out of some 4 wire XLR cable I had lying around, some paracord and a jump rope bead and some heat shrink for the Y-split. The cable that came with the SR-60e was just annoying.. it had to go. I haven’t done any aesthetic mods to it as I’m really only interested in changing the sound. It originally came with the factory S-cushions and some sort of salad bowl g-cushion (not sure if original or aftermarket). Didn’t like either of those so I finally got around to ordering these Geekria L-Cush pads… that made a huge difference, enough to where I’m finally kinda sorta starting to enjoy listening to them… if I do anything else to these, it will probably be replacing the drivers.

I have resurrected my RS1 Grado from around 2006?
Wondering what mods are suggested for them?

Definitely looking at upgrading the cable. Anything else?
The best quality of life mods would be a new headband (Turbulent Labs make nice ones) and a detachable cable mod. I'd suggest 3.5mm mono female jacks.

What makes you think there is something wrong with them?
I've read about these cans being resurrected, so I thought that there had to be some issue with them and you were able to handle it :)

If that's not the case, all good. I'm always interested in seeing how folks repair/mod products on their own, that's all :)
