Not everyone's going to pony up the $430+ for those custom Beyers, but we can dream.

In this thread, post your dream custom Beyer. Create it from scratch from their website. http://www.beyerdynamic.com/cms/MANU...r.0.html?&L=1#
You don't have to buy anything, and it's the coolest kind of window-shopping around. I'll start things off with my dream DT880:

My Leather Jacket-themed DT880s.

Post your dream!

Excellent thread idea! It can give us all ideas we might not have considered.

This is my current dream custom (DT990 250 ohm):

I might find a combo I like better, but would be hard-pressed to, I think.

600 ohm 2005 DT990. I would recable them with something very expensive to be driven balanced by my Lavry DA10. If anyone wants to trade a pair like that for an SA5000, I'm game.

591.50 Euro is the quoted price for my glorious fuglyphones.

I'm just trying to figure out how they got so expensive. Did you order a bunch of extra pads and such? I tried to max out all the options - not ordering any extras - and it was only around 400 Euro.

Edit: Fixed max price

You gotta tick the "extra ugly" option.

Very nice. I like the simple black/silver.
