What do you think of your Zerosurge power filter, Shellylh? Very reasonable prices as far as I can see.

So far it has done its job. I mostly use it for surge protector. It is also built very well. I am thinking of buying another one for my computer setup. I am getting tired of the problems I have had with APS (some jacks not working) and Triplite (weird hum when I have both a monitor and laptop plugged in) surge protectors.

Well, I don't use unix-similar stuff, or any flavor of it...IMO algorithm development isn't nerdy. It's pretty interesting, and complex. We have a model WAN setup, simulating networks on large scales.

The head developer's actually a world-class triathlete. And I'm also a competitive cyclist. And swimmer. And no beard (I would kill myself before I was forced to grew one)

sachu, is that a millett amp in the blue enclosure? I really dig the franken-industro look.

Plus that Fionn Regan CD is awesome...

EDIT: And if it is, are you really plugging the k1000's into it. Mine won't give the k1000's anything close to enough juice to make them sing properly.

are all those note cards filled out? i was never a fan of the note cards, but knew a few people in school who used note cards for numerous things. those things would get out of control all over their desks back at the dorm

It's only the first weekend of the semester so only about 100 out of the 300 on my desk are filled out so far... but that was only one chapter of my book so soon things are going to get nuts. I keep them organized by chapter and subject though so usually there aren't more then 100-150 in any one rubber banded pile.
