I got a pair of surround speakers and a center channel to go with my MA RS6 speakers (all in Rosenut color). Significant because I now have my NHT SB2 setup in my bedroom and a better all around system in the living room. It also allowed me to put my Insignia speakers in my office.

I also got a Pelican 1560 case w/ dividers. I needed a safe place to house most of my lenses. This seemed to fit the bill.

Finally, I got a new vaccum cleaner. It is a Dyson DC17. I had a bathroom remodel and my old vaccum cleaner was not getting the job done of picking up the dust.

Look like Klipsch, RF-52, very nice towers, RF series is best in class IMO

I'm still resisting the RF-63s

The RF-63s have Klipsch's incomparable 1.25" titanium horn tweeter, bi-amp binding posts and no rear-firing ports, best in class for my needs anyways. I never actually considered the RF-5x/3 series; I think the tweeter is smaller

Tascam DR-100 digital recorder. DPA SMK4060 matched mini omnidirectional mics and a mannequin head.

I've been happy with my headphone rig for some time. And my speaker rig has just moved to as far as its going for any number of years. I'm selling some gear to put funds towards taking up binaural recording, which I've wanted to do for some time but am fortunate enough to have the flexibility of buy before sell on this occassion. Moving onto a new phase of my academic life with a PhD, I thought it an apt time to take the plunge into a new hobby too.

Should be fun!

That's going to be a sweet set-up! I'm doing almost the same as you, except I'm focusing on building three different mic set ups. 1. Binaural, 2. Holophonic and 3. my own design.

How do you plan to mount the mics?
