While I'm wearing my DT 880s, there is an audible click in the left channel when I move the cable a certain way. It's a little hard to describe the motion that causes this but I'll try. Imagine wearing the cans with the cable pointing downward, you grab point on the cable at about shoulder level and move it toward your body. At a certain point this clicking sound will occur. It seems to happen at the same angle between the cable and vertical axis every time. Could this signify a damaged connection?

Also, is it a bad habit to leave headphones on your desk with the cable hanging off? I think I probably should have invested in a headphone stand...

You should check your solder joint on left driver
