My work won't let me use an MP3 or CD player, but will allow me to play through my computer. I need a simple and small usb sound card that sounds OK and can power larger headphones. I would be happy with one of those cheap $10 gizmos, but here's the catch, it has to work with Windows 2000. It also needs to be small so I can take it home easily. Something like a Turtle Beach Micro, but I've read they don't sound that good.
I've used search, but I can't seem to find something that meets my needs (especially drivers for W2K).

An iBasso D2 or D3 would work fine. However they are closer to $200. Both include a headphone amp. You will find more information in the portable section.
