Going back to school in the winter, and wanted to get a new headphone for studying in the library. My only full size experience are the Meze 99 Classic and AKG K701. I'm looking for a few characteristics:
  • Neutral/reference sound
  • Wide soundstage
  • Closed back circumaural with good noise isolation (passive, no ANC)
  • Portable (preferably foldable and/or earcups can swivel)
  • Detachable wires
  • Light weight
Was considering the Senn HD 598 CS but did not seem like a portable friendly model. Haven't found anything else meeting those requirements yet, hope to get some good recommendations. Thank you all in advance.

MrSpeakers AEON closed tick some of the boxes, but I can‘t think of a truly portable phone that fulfills all.
