Over the past week or so, I've been looking for headphones to replace my recently broken Thinksound Rains. At the moment, the VSonic GR06 IEMs and the HeadDirect RE0 IEMs are at the top of my list. However, I don't really know if either of these are the best choice. My limitations are a $100 budget (can squeeze a little more in for shipping) and they have to be small, preferably not open-back. I'd rather not distract my co-workers or people commuting on the train with me.
 
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

We need some more information.

What music genres do you prefer. what are you using for a source, do you like lots of bass, mid range, treble?? I can tell you now RE0 are very bass light and truly need a portable amp to show their full potential however, they have wonderful treble extension. The GRO6 would be a better all rounder. But without some more info from your side it's hard to make suggestions.

not sure, but have a look at shure se215, monster turbines and ue700s. UE's might be a little over 100 though.

The Shure SE215s are at the top of my list now. Unless anyone else has recommendations, I'll be purchasing those.
