Hello Head-Fi, I was looking to buy a pair of portable cans and i came a cross a little situation. I cannot decide between these 3 on-ear headphones:

V-Moda M-80
Monster DNA
Logitech UE-6000

My case is I want them with superb build quality, good looks and of course sound. Btw I am in the 100$-200$ range. I've been leaning towards the Vmodas for a while I love their style, their quality and hopefully the sound. I like the UEs because of the NC feature, the bass and they are the cheapest of the three without sacrificing too much quality. And then there's the DNAs, they are good looking and i read that they are very comfortable. I listen mostly to punk and alt rock, acoustic, pop, RnB, EDM, and dance. A reply would be very helpful. Thanks.

If you can get the M-80s on clearance at your local radioshack, it's a damn good deal. Otherwise, they typically sell for $100 on ebay, which is still a decent deal.

I can't really recommend the others, but they look rather large for true portable use. Honestly, if I was you and looking for cans to wear around outside, I'd get some IEMs. Even with my M-80's, I carry around some IEMs all the time because I can slip them in my pocket and forget about them.

I do not really like the looks of the hd 25s (in exception of the beautiful adidas ones). Saying that same goes with the amperiors. And i am really trying to avoid that 200$ mark so the price doesn't help. But i sure will put it in consideration. thanks for the reply its appreciated.

That was the other option I was thinking about, IEMs. And i was highly considering the new Brainwavz S1. But i would really prefer cans rather than an IEM. Plus I wont be using it outdoors but more in school and whenever i go out to a mall but we'll see i might go towards an IEM. Come to think of it I think I will surely buy an IEM particularly for working out but only in the 30$ range

I would go for either the Vmoda M80's (which are on sale at Radioshack if you can find one in your area) and the UE 600; is there a reason you didn't list the ATH-M50? It's very popular for its value. (Over-ear)

I looked into that too, sadly it didn't appeal to me that much. I watch MKBHD so I am pretty much familiar of those. It also hit me that this was more for monitoring rather than for fun music listening. Another thing is it is too big for my liking.

FYI guys I would prefer to buy in Amazon or Best Buy. Plus I don't have Radioshack in my area.

Again, thanks for the replies!

You may want to look into the JVC S400 and S500, both are available from Amazon for around $30 and $60 respectively.  Both are on-ear and portable and are well liked on head-fi.

For now, I am looking at the higher end of the market for portable headphones, or at least higher than those you stated. But thanks for the suggestion though, I appreciate it!
